Ian photographed our wedding in 2012. A friend had recommended him to us and, when we saw how beautiful her album of pictures was, we didn't hesitate to contact him. From our first contact with Ian and our first meeting where he showed us samples and put us completely at ease, to our big day where he made our snapshots into treasured lifetime memories, Ian went above and beyond and we thought of him more as a friend than our photographer by the end of our wedding.

 

On the morning of our wedding I tell you he was right up there with my bridesmaids for keeping me calm!
Ian shows a genuine interest in who people are and what they want out of their pictures on the big day and tailors his services to suit.
He is a very talented, creative and hardworking photographer - able to get the very best out of everyone in a setting without making things look staged, and with a real knack for capturing the fleeting and gorgeous moments that you thought you might only remember from the snapshots in your mind.

 

We look back on our pictures with such fondness - every single shot makes us smile, every time.

Ian made our wedding just perfect, he captured some amazing moments and without his beautiful pictures these moment would have been forgotten. Totally professional and a delight to have around, I can't recommend enough. We also called on Ian to take photos of our new family member George which are just gorgeous. Choosing our wedding photographer was one of the most important decisions that we made regarding our day, and thanks to Ian it was the by far the easiest. He's just brilliant at what he does and I never tire of recommending Scarlet Ribbon. Can't really even describe how pleased we were to have Ian as our wedding photographer. He fit in so well with the whole day, put the guests at ease in front of a camera and made everything stress free. Afterwards so many people commented to us on how fantastic he was. Ian photographed our wedding after being recommended to us by several people. He did a great pre-wedding shoot in some great quirky places. Ian did an amazing job: from start to finish he has been fantastic. He was such a pleasure to have around on our wedding day and it was just like having an extra (and very talented!) guest; he fitted in so well and was not in the least bit intrusive.
